To access these settings, go to the bottom-left corner of Ocean.io and click on your profile icon. This will open a quick view menu where you’ll find Settings along with other Account options.
Some of the options described below have since moved to their own settings pages (security, for example, now has its own page), so if you don't see one described here where expected, check the Settings menu for a dedicated page.
1. Account Information
At the top of the page, you can view:
First name and Last name – The name associated with your account. Click the Edit button under the fields to change them, then click Save.
Email Address – The email linked to your Ocean.io account.
2. Sign Out & Change Password
Below your account info, you’ll find:
Change password – Update your password at any time to keep your account secure.
Note:
Click the profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the app to open the quick view menu, where you will also find a Sign out button.
If you wish to quickly sign out, you can also do it this way by selecting the Sign out button directly from the profile menu.
3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account:
How it works: The first factor is your password. The second factor is a unique code sent to your email, or a code from an authenticator app.
Why it’s important: 2FA helps protect your account even if your password is compromised.
Manage 2FA: Any user can turn it on. Under Preferences on this page, switch on Two-factor authentication (2FA) for codes sent by email, or select Set up next to Authenticator app. If your organization has the Enterprise security add-on, a manager can also require it for every user from Security in the Settings menu.

4. Quicker previews
Quicker previews are the small previews that appear when you hover over a person or company in search and other views, without clicking on it.
Quicker previews: Under Preferences, switch the Quicker previews toggle on or off to add or remove these previews according to your preferences.
