To access these settings, go to the bottom-left corner of Ocean.io and click on your profile icon. This will open a quick view menu where you’ll find Settings along with other Account options.
All of the options described below are located on the same Account Settings page and appear in sections as you scroll down.
1. Account Information
At the top of the page, you can view:
Name & Family Name – The name associated with your account. Click the blue Edit button at the bottom to update it anytime.
Email Address – The email linked to your Ocean.io account.
Account Status – See whether your account is active.
2. Sign Out & Change Password
Below your account info, you’ll find:
Sign Out / Log Out – Use this to securely log out of your account.
Change Password – Update your password at any time to keep your account secure.
Note:
Click the profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the app to open the quick view menu, where you will also find a Sign out button.
If you wish to quickly sign out, you can also do it this way by selecting the Sign out button directly from the profile menu.
3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account:
How it works: The first factor is your password. The second factor is a unique code sent to your email.
Why it’s important: 2FA helps protect your account even if your password is compromised.
Manage 2FA: You can enable or disable this feature directly from your account settings.
Your account settings page is designed to give you control, security, and flexibility. We encourage you to enable 2FA and review your Quick Viewer settings to make the most of your Ocean.io experience.
4. Quick Viewers
Quick Viewers are the small bubbles that appear when you hover over an item in the results tab without clicking on it.
Manage Quick Viewers: You can add or remove Quick Viewers here according to your preferences by switching the toggle on or off.
