1. Sign Up for a Free Trial
Go to Ocean.io.
Click the Free Trial button in the top-right corner.
Follow the prompts to create your trial account. You will need to use a company email address, as personal emails (e.g., Gmail) are not supported.
💡 Tip: Make sure you use an email you check regularly, as all onboarding instructions and notifications will be sent there.
2. What’s Included in Your Trial
During your free trial, you can:
Use all filters and search results available on paid plans.
Use credits to load results; the first 10 of each search are free, after that, you pay per loaded result.
Export any result you've loaded for free
Use credits to reveal emails and phone numbers.
Complete onboarding steps on your dashboard to earn extra credits while learning how the platform works. Weekly webinars are also available to introduce users to the platform's functionality and address common questions.
3. Trial Account Limits
While your trial gives full visibility of features, there are a few limitations:
Credits: You will get 300 credits for free, which you can spend on loading results or enriching contact data with emails or phones. Finish onboarding steps to gain new credits for free.
User Limits: Trial accounts can add up to 2 additional users via the user management, for a total of 3 users. Paid plans allow unlimited users.
Trial Accounts per Organization: Each organization can have up to 3 trial accounts.
4. After Your Trial Ends
When you run out of trial credits, you can purchase new credits to continue using the platform.
Note: Your Ocean.io trial account does not expire, you can always log back in.
Trial credits are valid for 2 weeks and expire after this period. Purchasing a subscription does not extend or affect trial credits. Once trial credits are used or expired, you can purchase new credits to continue using the platform.
5. Need More Time?
If you want to use the platform longer:
Choose a Subscription plan.
Get 15-25% discount on credits.
Credits stay valid for 6-12 months after purchase or renewal.
Choose pay-as-you-go credits.
Credits stay valid for 3 months after purchase
