Why should I consider saving lead lists on LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Outreach is all about being there at the right moment for the right reasons. If someone new is hired in the company you've been chasing for a while, or a person you've been in contact with for a long time announces an exciting new step in their company, it's the right time to touch base for a good reason.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Apply the "LinkedIn" filter to only see companies that we have connected a LinkedIn page to. For these companies, the first column of your CSV file will match their LinkedIn page name, which makes it easier for LinkedIn to generate the list with the right companies. A 100% match rate is however never guaranteed.

How to get the file from Ocean

1. Once you have found the companies you wish to find the right people for, select them all and click on the option Export > LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

2. A pop-up will open, to show how many companies will be exported.

3. After you clicked on "Save as CSV", wait for the notification to pop up so you can download the CSV

How to use the file in Sales Navigator

1. Open your Sales Navigator and navigate to "Accounts"

2. Next up, go to "Account Lists"

3. On the right side, click on "+ Create account list", then "Upload accounts from CSV"

4. Follow the steps in the pop-up, until you're at the 3rd step (the matching fields step). Ensure you match the "Account name", "LinkedIn Company URL" and "Website URL" correctly, as shown in the example below.

5. Next up, name your account list

6. When you're done, select the Account Lists in the "Workflow" filter of your Sales Navigator Lists search to get the search started! This will select the companies that the LinkedIn members work at - combine this with filters like "Job title" and "Geography" to find the right people within the right companies.

7. Satisfied? Save the entire search to get notifications when new leads enter your saved search or add individual people to your saved leads lists to reach out later.
