Company lookalike · Sourcing · Produces companies
Finds companies that resemble a seed domain and feeds them into the workflow. It's a guided version of Companies search built around one job — lookalike sourcing — so the seed domain is required up front rather than buried among the filters.
When to use it
Use it to source new accounts that look like a customer you already like — "find more companies like acme.com". If lookalike is your main intent, this is the clearest way to set it up.
What it does
For each run, it searches for companies similar to your seed domain and enrolls the results as company records, each with a match score. You can narrow the results with the same company filters as Companies search.
Configure it
Lookalike domain — the seed company to find matches for. Required.
Filters — optional narrowing filters (industry, size, technologies, location, and so on) to tighten the results around the seed.
Companies per run — the maximum number of companies to bring in per run.
Net new — leave on to skip companies already in a lead list, export, or CRM.
Cost
0.2 credits per result. See Credits in workflows.
Gotchas
The seed domain is required — the step is marked incomplete until you set one.
Prefer to combine lookalike with lots of other filters, or don't want a mandatory seed? Companies search offers the same lookalike as one optional filter among many.
