Credits in workflows

What steps cost and how you're charged.

Workflows use your workspace credits when they run. Steps that pull in or enrich data cost credits; steps that just move records around are free.

Where cost is shown

Steps and triggers that cost credits show a $ chip on their card in the builder. Hover it to see the exact rate before you publish.

What's free

Flow and reporting steps don't cost credits: Route, Branch, Filter, Wait, Aggregate, Notify, Export to CSV, and HTTP request. Segment & score is also free.

How you're charged

You're charged as steps process records, and only for work actually done — for example, Enrich charges only for details it finds and validates. A small run with a low limit costs little; the cost scales with how many records flow through the paid steps.

Keeping cost down

  • Filter before you enrich. Put a Filter ahead of paid steps so you don't pay to enrich records you'll drop.

  • Set a low limit while testing. Sourcing steps have a limit — keep it small until the workflow does what you want.

  • Mind the 5× on referenced content. Feeding a fetched page into AI research is powerful but costs more; filter down first.

The rates above are the standard rates. See your plan's billing settings for your workspace's exact credit rates and balance.
