What is the Lookalike Search?
Updated over a week ago

You identified a target segment you wish to go for. How do you find the right companies that fit that profile and avoid wasting time on evaluating thousands of accounts before getting to a good list?

We'll show you how to use the Lookalike Search!

In our Lookalike Search, we allow you to benchmark a company to start off with. Use a company that currently is a great customer and represents a successful target segment, or use a company that could potentially fit in there.

Once you started the search, our algorithms will automatically find similar companies based on their website content. That's how we can find similarities between companies more thoroughly than you ever could with just industry codes!

If the search contains a few very good results and some that are less relevant, consider adding some good results to the lookalike filter to recalibrate the search and find even better results.

The default search type is Targeted, where our algorithm finds lookalike companies based on website text and industries together. If you change this to Broad, it zooms out and gives you many more results.

The cutoff is set to C - Medium relevance by default. If you want to explore only the results that look the most like the company you put in, change the relevance to A - Very high or B - High. If you want to widen your search field and add more companies to the end of your search with lower relevance, change it to D - Low.

Happy hunting!
