Set Credit Limits Per User
Updated over a week ago

Note: Setting credit limits per user is only available in Growth and Advanced plans.

Are you worried that the division of credits among colleagues within your organization is unfair? Eliminate friction once and for all by setting credit limits per user.

You can set limits on both Lookalike export credits as well as Contact reveal credits.

How is the limit counted?

Setting a limit means that the selected users can only export/reveal contacts up to a maximum of the credit limit assigned to them. The credits are however not reserved for them. Each export/contact reveal will be taken from the total limit.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Setting a limit ensures that the user in question can't use credits beyond their absolute limit. You could therefore consider assigning slightly more credits than an equal portion to each user to ensure all credits are used.

Example:

  • The organization has a limit of 1,000 Lookalike export credits

  • User A has a limit of 600 Lookalike export credits

  • User B has a limit of 600 Lookalike export credits

In the example above, User A and B work in the same organization that has a total Lookalike export limit of 1,000. If User A decides to export 600 items, User B will only be able to export with the remaining 400 Lookalike export credits.

How to set/change the limits?

Head over to the User management page to set or change individual credit limits. Behind every user, click on the action button (...) and select "Set Lookalike Exports limit" or "Set Contact Reveals limit".

In the modal that shows up, you can change the total limit to whatever you desire. The limit will be applied to the period that your credits are valid as per your contract; this could be either monthly or yearly.

Where can I see my own limits?

You can see your own limit by heading to the home page. If a limit has been set to your individual account, you can see so under "Personal limit". "Team credits" show the total number of credits that is assigned to your organization.
