Discovery: Explore and Prioritize Your Best-Fit Companies

A ranked, tiered list of companies that match your best customers, ready to filter, review, and act on.

Discovery is where you work with the results of a segmentation: a ranked, tiered list of companies that match your best customers, ready to filter, review, and act on.

🧭 Where recommendations come from

Discovery shows recommendations for one segmentation at a time. Don't have a segmentation yet? Start one from Context, Discovery is where you use a segmentation once it exists, not where you build one.

📋 Recommendations

This is the tab you land on: a table of companies scored against your segmentation and sorted into four tiers by fit.

  • Tier 1: 80 and above

  • Tier 2: 60–79

  • Tier 3: 40–59

  • Tier 4: below 40

Each row shows the company, its score (click it to see exactly which signals drove it), the segment it matched, its top matched signals, and its CRM status: net new, in your CRM with no deal, or in your CRM with a deal lost more than six months ago.

Use the tier chips to focus on the tiers you care about, the CRM status filter to separate untouched prospects from ones already in your pipeline, the segment filter to narrow to one segment, or search by name. Click a row to open the company's full profile.

The table only shows lookalikes that aren't already active in your CRM, so companies with an open or recently-won deal don't clutter the list. New recommendations calculate in the background: you'll see progress at the top of the table, and your previous results stay usable until the update finishes.

🗂️ Segments

See how your segmentation breaks down into individual segments, each with its own company count and, once you've connected a CRM with enough closed deals, its win rate and average deal size. Open a segment to see its tier breakdown, its outcomes so far, and a button to open all its lookalike companies in a full company search.

Companies that don't clearly belong to any one segment are grouped under "Other," a holding area so nothing gets lost, not a real segment.

⚖️ Models

Compare how different scoring models would rank the same companies, side by side, up to four at once. Adjust the balance between company fit and segment fit with a preset (Fit only, Mostly fit, Balanced, Mostly segment, Segment only), then apply a model to rerank this segmentation's recommendations. This is also where you switch which model is actively scoring a segmentation.

🎚️ Settings

Set market filters: hard requirements every company must meet to count as in-market at all (employee size, department headcount, headquarters country). A company that misses a market filter is excluded everywhere, from segment sizes to recommendations, so use market filters only for true dealbreakers. To favor some companies without ruling the rest out, use a scoring model instead.
