Start from a template

Begin with a prebuilt workflow and adapt it.

Templates are prebuilt workflows for common go-to-market plays, grouped into four categories. Starting from one gives you a working structure you can adapt, instead of a blank canvas or a from-scratch build.

Use a template

On the New workflow page, browse the template chips grouped by category, or open a category to see all four of its templates before picking one. Ocean creates a new workflow with the steps already in place; open it and adjust the settings to fit your data.

  • Re-engage a deal we lost — when a deal is lost, wait 90 days, then find the people at that account and put them back into a sequence.

  • Sequence the people I select in Ocean — take the people you select in Ocean, reveal their email and phone, and add them to a sequence.

  • Weekly outbound from a company search — every week, run a company search, find people at the new companies, and add them to a sequence.

After you pick one

A template is a starting point, not a finished workflow. Before you publish:

  • Point sourcing steps at your own segment, domains, or search.

  • Fill in workspace-specific choices — CRM provider, Slack channel, sequence.

  • Adjust filters and conditions to match how you qualify.

  • Check the trigger runs when you want it to.

Then publish and turn it Live. See Publish, drafts, and versions.
